Multi/Single Conductor a.c. Clampmeter

The MMC850 is a new Clampmeter designed as a significant advance on its predecessor, the FLEXICLAMP 200. It includes the same unique ability to measure current in multi-conductor cables, but significant developments in technology now enable currents to be measured in multiple conductor cables more easily, more accurately and more consistently than ever before. The MMC850 has dual applications, in that current in multi-core cables up to 100A and single core (conventional) cables up to 200A can be measured.

The MMC850 covers both 50Hz and 60Hz supplies, and the measurement head is optimised for both European and American cable types. Therefore markets throughout the world are covered by just one instrument version.
Safety rated to IEC 61010 Cat III (600V), and categorised as safe for connection and disconnection to live conductors.

• Not based on conventional current transformer technology, so no iron-core.

• 13mm outer jaw opening, widening to 22mm diameter inner jaw which accommodates even the largest flat-style (4mm2/18 AWG) cables found throughout Europe & USA


• Large backlit digital display which allows readings to be read in dark locations
• Data-Hold facility enables instrument to be used in awkward semi-accessible locations.
